Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and operational activities for refrigeration plant room equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems while minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operation & Maintenance
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in accordance with approved maintenance schedules and engineering guidelines.
- Operate refrigeration plant room equipment as instructed by the Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and associated mechanical equipment.
- Ensure refrigeration systems operate efficiently with minimum downtime.
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and update all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for preventive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and equipment failures.
Contractor Coordination
- Supervise contractors performing maintenance under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Coordinate contractor schedules for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
