SNR MECHANICAL ENGINEER – QATAR
A global manpower provider specializing in the Energy, Infrastructure and IT sectors. With a presence in more than 70 countries, we are working with a client based in Qatar to source a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a residential contract based in Qatar.

Contract Type: Residential based in Qatar.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 6 years’ experience in an oil and gas environment.
- Senior Engineer level competencies as per Mechanical Technical Competencies.
- Proficiency in design calculation and verification using software such as PV Elite, CAESAR II, and Nozzle Pro.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support Mechanical Engineering activities (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and packaged equipment) for onshore and offshore facilities during EPC and start‑up phases until handover to permanent asset, ensuring project deliverables meet safety, operability, reliability and maintainability expectations over the design life cycle.
- Provide all aspects of Mechanical Engineering support to contribute to division strategy and goals, including design reviews, commissioning, start‑up, failure analysis, advanced troubleshooting, and development of work packs for maintenance‑executed modifications.
- Define and document best practices within the area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as required to support overall business objectives.
- Identify plant problems concerning static equipment and piping, covering degradation, failure and equipment malfunction.
- Control and supervise the activities undertaken by contractors, consultants and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing the company’s integrity and reliability systems.
- Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie‑in requirements for all systems under your responsibility.
