We're Hiring: Contract Controller
We are currently supporting our client in search of an experienced Contract Controller to join their team.
Job Purpose Summary:
The Contract Controller is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing lease agreements and related contractual documentation across the company’s property. The role ensures all contracts are aligned with approved terms, compliant with policies, and properly documented within the system, supporting leasing operations and audit requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation & Documentation:
- Prepare lease agreements based on approved commercial terms provided by the Leasing team.
- Ensure all tenant, unit, and contract details are accurately captured and reflected in lease documents.
- Maintain consistency and standardization using approved templates and clauses across all contracts.
- Coordinate with the Contract & Leasing Lead for approval of any non-standard clauses or deviations.
- Ensure contracts are prepared and issued within defined timelines to support leasing efficiency.
- Financial Calculations & Lease Structuring:
- Calculate pro-rata rent, security deposits, and administrative fees.
- Ensure accuracy of payment schedules, installment plans, and billing structure.
- Cross-check financial terms against approved leasing offers and company policies.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure alignment between contract terms and invoicing requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies prior to contract issuance.
- Contract Review & Compliance Control:
- Verify accuracy of contractual terms, dates, obligations and payment details before issuance.
- Ensure all lease agreements comply with approved templates, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify any inconsistencies or risks and escalate to the Contract & Leasing Lead when required.
- Maintain strict adherence to contract control procedures and compliance standards.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to contracts.
- Lease Lifecycle Management (Renewals & Terminations):
- Prepare lease renewals, addendums and amendments based on approved updated terms
- Review termination requests and calculate applicable penalties or deductions.
- Ensure all lease changes are properly documented and approved.
- Update contract records to reflect current lease status and changes.
- Maintain accurate records of lease lifecycle events.
- Coordination, Audit Trail & Record Management:
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure payments align with lease agreements.
- Maintain a complete and traceable audit of all contractual and financial changes.
- Ensure all tenant files are complete with supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required records.
- Maintain organized contract records in line with document control procedures.
Any other task assigned by the direct superior.

Education:
Diploma in business administration, Finance, Law, Real Estate, or equivalent.
Certificates:
Contract management certification.
Computer Literacy:
- Computer literate.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Property Management Systems (PMS).
Languages:
English fluent.
Arabic is a plus.
Experience
- 5 - 8 years of experience in contract administration, leasing, or property management.
- Experience in real estate or leasing environments is preferred.
