Senior Financial Analyst

NES is assisting its client to hire an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial management of oil & gas assets and joint ventures in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading energy organization and play a key role in supporting strategic financial decision-making across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the finance focal point for assigned non-operated assets and asset teams.
• Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
• Review JV budgets, cash calls, work programs, and venture financial performance.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial insights for senior leadership
• Drive process improvements through SAP ERP, Power BI, Tableau, and advanced analytics tools.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and financial governance requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years' experience within the energy sector, oil & gas industry, or consulting environment.
• Strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and financial planning tools.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, governance processes, and asset economics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
