External
- Provide technical and clerical support in accordance with Company procedures and processes to ensure accurate, complaint and efficient departmental systems and workflows.
- Reports to Project Manager (Dredging)
- Direct reports: None.
Internal
- Frequent contact with NFW Offplot Dredging team.
- Regular contact with department secretarial support within NFW Offplot team, Major Projects, and focal points across the Company.
- Frequent contact with IT, Facilities Management, EMS Security & General Services.
External
- Occasional contact with external consultants and suppliers.
- Work in a dynamic team environment, observing strict levels of confidentiality, decorum and discretion regarding all performance and administrative matters.
- As defined for this job level in the Delegation of Authority and/or approved budget.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.
- Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti - trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.
- Support comprehensive administrative support to project teams, ensuring technical objectives are met within the approved scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Review databases and verify complex administrative tasks to ensure the integrity, reliability, and consistency of information and quality standards.
- Maintain, organise, update, and retrieve data within SAP, Access, and other corporate systems, ensuring all records are accurately updated and easily retrieved.
- Contribute to the preparation and compilation of complex reports, statistics and presentations ensuring Company formatting and documentation standards.
- Identify and resolve potential data processing issues and provide preliminary troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted operational workflows.
- Review and cross-check complex clerical work to ensure accuracy and compliance with departmental standards.
- Function as a technical point of reference for colleagues, providing guidance on established precedence, practices, and techniques.
- Serve as a focal point for internal and external visitors, coordinating logistical and administrative activities, including transportation, training enrolment, officer relocations and procurement of essential supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Secondary school (12 years) formal education.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Advanced keyboard and PC Skills.
- Advanced knowledge of standard computer software.
