Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and instruction to students with special needs, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth. You will collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Additionally, you will monitor student progress, adjust teaching strategies as necessary, and advocate for the inclusion and well-being of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1.Performs a variety of assessments and observations to determine the areas in which the student may need extra or modified educational services. Assessment areas may include academic performance, behavior, social development, or physical health.
- 2.Develops and teaches lessons that provide engaging learning opportunities for small groups and individual students while meeting required specifications of IEPs.
- 3.Implements IEPs, provides ongoing or follow-up assessments, and continually tracks progress and makes modifications as necessary.
- 4.Establishes and enforces classroom management structure and rules that ensure the academic engagement and the physical and mental safety of all students.
- 5.Celebrates the achievements and successes of students.
- 6.Communicates with parents in a positive manner regularly to ensure clear understanding of student’s strengths, challenges, goals, progress and potential.
- 7.Participates in all aspects of the center including several times a year, evening/weekend community events assigned.
- 8.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directs, monitors, and mentors teachers’ assistants working with students who have disabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology
- Valid license in Psychology an minimum year of experience in the same field .
- Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with individuals with special needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate students' learning styles and abilities.
- Proficiency in using assistive technology and educational software.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with behavior management techniques and positive behavior support.
- Training in specific methodologies or interventions for students with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, or other special needs.
