Senior Public Relations

The Senior Public Relations provides senior-level strategic and operational support to client’s PR & Communications Department. The role serves as a key advisor responsible for leading public relations strategy, managing major corporate events, overseeing PRrelated tendering and procurement processes, supervising vendors and contracts, and ensuring full compliance with Qatar Tender Law and client’s internal policies.

The Consultant supports client’s corporate reputation, public image, and stakeholder engagement by delivering consistent, professional, and compliant PR activities, managing sponsorships and partnerships, and supporting crisis communication preparedness when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and oversee client’s PR strategy, annual communications

• plans, and corporate events calendar.
• Prepare, float, and supervise PR-related tenders including events, branding, publications, marketing materials, gifts, and PR services in compliance with Qatar Tender Law and internal policies.
• Evaluate technical and commercial vendor submissions, coordinate clarifications, and support committee reviews and approvals.
• Analyze contracts and ensure vendors meet agreed scope, timelines, deliverables, service levels, and contractual obligations.
• Manage PR vendors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of services and materials.
• Oversee production and execution of events, branding installations, printing, and multimedia outputs, including site inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare detailed event proposals covering logistics, budgets, layouts, programs, staffing, and operational requirements.
• Supervise on-ground event setup, execution, and post-event closure while ensuring
• VIP protocol standards and client’s corporate image are upheld.
• Coordinate protocol arrangements for senior officials, VIPs, dignitaries, and official delegations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring contractual benefits and branding obligations are fulfilled.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with government entities, partners, suppliers, sponsors, and media institutions when formally assigned.
• Prepare PR activity reports, post-event reports, vendor evaluations, sponsorship reports, and procurement documentation.
• Provide insights, recommendations, and knowledge transfer to support continuous improvement of PR processes and practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience working within Qatari government entities and familiarity with Qatar Tender & Procurement Law.

• Strong understanding of procurement workflows, committee processes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent event management, stakeholder coordination, and PR execution skills.
• Strong drafting and documentation skills for proposals, reports, contracts, and official communications.
• Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) preferred.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive and high-profile matters.
