OPERATOR (CONDENSATE)

Primary Purpose of the Job

QP Refinery is a major contributor and supplier of petroleum products. Operator-I is responsible for safe and efficient field operation. Nature of job is to work in the field that involves activities dealing with hot hydrocarbons, high noise area, toxic gases, high temperatures, and pressures, and sever weather conditions. High level of alertness is required to perform the job. High level of understanding of refinery complexity and Refinery and Chemical Plant technology is required.
The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts; required to work extended hours as per work requirement.

Required Experience and Skills

• 7 Years of operations experience in a Refinery / Chemical Plant with 3 years in the specific unit


• TPP or equivalent


• Good working knowledge of relevant process units.


• Good knowledge in basic calculations.


• Good surveillance, vigilance and control in Operations.


• Follows Refinery policies and procedures in line with Company’s mission.


• Good working knowledge of English.


• Undergone HSE related trainings.

Educational Qualifications

Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent.
