Senior Project Manager

Our client is an established organization delivering major projects across the region and is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value, complex initiatives. The company is focused on delivering projects that support long-term business growth while maintaining the highest standards of governance, quality, and operational performance.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager will lead multiple complex projects, providing strategic direction while ensuring successful delivery within approved scope, budget, and schedule. The role requires an experienced leader capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, executive stakeholders, and project governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex and high-value projects.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and resource allocation.
• Provide leadership to project teams and external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct executive-level project reporting and governance reviews.
• Resolve critical project issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Implement project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project procurement and contract administration activities.
• Support organizational portfolio planning where required.
• Mentor junior project managers and engineering teams.
• Ensure successful project closeout and client handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience leading major capital or infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic would be considered an advantage.
