Junior Civil Engineer – Oil & Gas
Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar
Industry: Oil & Gas
Required Experience: Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and monitoring civil construction activities at Oil & Gas project sites.
- Review civil drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor civil works, including excavation, concrete works, foundations, structural works, and other infrastructure activities.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
- Conduct routine site inspections and verify that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor work progress and report any technical issues, delays, or deviations to the project team.
- Coordinate material requirements and support the planning and scheduling of civil construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, HSE procedures, and site safety regulations.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and other relevant project documentation.
- Support the resolution of site issues and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects .
- Experience in civil construction, site supervision, and inspection activities.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of concrete works, foundations, excavation, and structural civil works.
- Familiarity with construction quality requirements and HSE standards.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project-based site environment.
- Candidates with previous experience in Qatar Oil & Gas projects will be preferred.
