Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Technician specializing in Wet Utilities to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models focused on wet utilities systems including water supply, drainage, and sewage infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate modeling, clash detection, and seamless project coordination on complex infrastructure projects in the region.

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for wet utilities systems using industry-standard software such as Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent platforms
• Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems with architectural and structural models to identify and resolve clashes and conflicts
• Perform clash detection analysis and generate comprehensive reports with recommended solutions
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation from BIM models for construction and coordination purposes
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and project alignment
• Manage and organize BIM data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project standards and protocols
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately represent wet utilities infrastructure in the model
• Support project teams with BIM coordination meetings and provide technical guidance on modeling standards
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and best practices relevant to Qatar and the GCC region
• Maintain organized project files and documentation for efficient data retrieval and project continuity

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, Navisworks, or similar modeling platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and wet utilities infrastructure
• Strong understanding of water supply, drainage, sewage, and related utility systems
• Proven experience with 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in BIM coordination, MEP modeling, or wet utilities projects
• Experience working on infrastructure or construction projects with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and data management skills with attention to detail

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations in Qatar or the GCC region
• Experience with project management software and collaboration tools
• Knowledge of clash detection methodologies and resolution strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders on complex projects
• Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve technical challenges efficiently
