Superintendent (Hydrographic)

### Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent (Hydrographic) for a 36-month contract to oversee all hydrographic-related functions for our major marine works, including the RLIC Port dredging and reclamation project and the NFW Offplot project . You will ensure the collection, processing, interpretation, and delivery of high-quality marine data to support precise project planning and execution .

### Key Accountabilities

• Survey Planning & Execution: Plan and coordinate bathymetric, topographic, drone, and offshore surveys .

• Data Collection & Quality Control: Supervise the acquisition of survey data and ensure strict calibration and accuracy .

• Data Processing & Reporting: Oversee raw data processing, validate charts/maps/digital models, and approve final survey reports .

• Project & Technical Management: Define scope for survey work and prepare technical specifications in line with international standards (IHO, IMCA, ISO) . Manage survey teams, vessels, and equipment .

• HSEQ & Compliance: Enforce strict Company HSEQ policies and international standards (IHO, IMO) .

• Qatarization Program: Contribute to the development of Qatari employees (applicable to expatriate employees) .

### Role Requirements & Person Specification

• Qualifications: Must hold a Category A Certification from an institute recognized by the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) .

• Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in Hydrographic studies, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry , large-scale marine/infrastructure works, or major dredging projects .

• Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a dedicated supervisory or acting role managing contractors and vendor personnel .

• Software Proficiency: Competence in PDS 2000, HYPACK, CARIS, AutoCAD, and GIS applications .

• Availability: Ability to commit to a 36-month timeline working a 6-day weekly schedule (8–10 hours/day) .
