Principal Scrum Master

The Principal Scrum Master oversees the agile processes within AI projects, ensuring the effective implementation of Scrum methodologies. This role involves facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure successful project delivery across all AI sections and teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Facilitate Scrum events, including sprintplanning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensurethe Scrum process is understood and followed by the team across AI sections.
• Remove impediments and resolve conflicts toenable the team’s progress.
• Support the Product Owner in maintainingthe product backlog and ensuring it is well-defined and prioritized.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvementand collaboration within the team.
• Mentor and support team members in agilepractices and principles.
• Track and report on project progress,ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Supervise other Scrum Masters in other AIsections and collaborate with agile teams to share best practices and improveoverall agile processes across the AI department.
• Participate in project planning andcontribute to the development of project timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare reports, documentation, andpresentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties relevant to the job asassigned by the Head of AI Excellence or senior management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CertifiedScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Disciplined Agile SeniorScrum Master (DASSM)) are preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in projectmanagement or Scrum Master roles
• Experience in managing agile projects inAI-focused environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and agilemethodologies
• Excellent facilitation and communicationskills
• Strong problem-solving and conflictresolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks andprioritize effectively
• In-depth understanding of agile principlesand practices
• Familiarity with AI technologies andproject management tools
• Ability to foster a collaborative andhigh-performing team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitmentto delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as partof a team
• Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA,Trello)
