HVAC/CRAC/ICWS Lead

The HVAC/CRAC/ICWS Lead will work in a fast‑paced work environment and must have a detailed understanding of facility equipment and operations, including facility systems operations, chillers, air conditioning, ventilation, and structural repairs. The role requires supervising, troubleshooting, and restoring operations of facility systems and equipment, scheduling preventive maintenance assignments and work orders, and conducting daily supervisory field inspections to assist craftsmen with assigned duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Possess good customer relation skills to effectively provide assistance to company and customer representatives.
• Respond to after‑hour calls and work requirements.
• Cooperate and support IAP policies.
• Meet the OSHA requirement of lifting 50 pounds; maintain the appropriate physical condition.
• Operate company vehicle safely, possessing a valid current driver’s license.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems, including Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC) and Industrial Chilled Water Systems (ICWS).
• Journeyman HVAC with a CFC Universal License/Certification.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑up.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Knowledge of safety rules and practices and environmental policies.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
• Ability to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN to the USCENTCOM Individual and Individual‑Unit Deployment Policy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
• Endurance for long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

TRAVEL

100% travel required to the deployed location.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
