Senior Resident Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer – Road & Infrastructure Works to lead, manage, and supervise major road and infrastructure construction activities for the Project.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise road and infrastructure construction activities.
• Manage and provide technical direction to the site supervision team.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Supervise earthworks, pavement, asphalt, drainage, utilities, kerbs, and associated works.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submissions, and inspection requests.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, progress, and compliance with project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, client, survey teams, and other stakeholders.
• Verify levels, alignment, setting-out, testing, and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues.
• Maintain site records, reports, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant road and infrastructure experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Resident Engineer/Resident Engineer on major road and infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in roads, highways, drainage, utilities, and civil works.
• Valid UPDA/MMUP Required.
• Professional License Required.
• Qatar/GCC experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, contractor management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
