Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer – Road & Infrastructure Works to lead, manage, and supervise major road and infrastructure construction activities for the Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise road and infrastructure construction activities.
- Manage and provide technical direction to the site supervision team.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
- Supervise earthworks, pavement, asphalt, drainage, utilities, kerbs, and associated works.
- Review drawings, method statements, material submissions, and inspection requests.
- Monitor contractor performance, quality, progress, and compliance with project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, client, survey teams, and other stakeholders.
- Verify levels, alignment, setting-out, testing, and workmanship.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues.
- Maintain site records, reports, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 20 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant road and infrastructure experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior Resident Engineer/Resident Engineer on major road and infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in roads, highways, drainage, utilities, and civil works.
- Valid UPDA/MMUP Required.
- Professional License Required.
- Qatar/GCC experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, contractor management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
