The position is responsible for the maintenance of a clean, safe, well-ordered environment and to assist the management and performance of routine maintenance to the physical properties of the Farm.

Job Responsibilities 1

• Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment in the milking parlor
• Develops technologies related to all the various types and brands of equipment in the Baladna parlors
• Develops routine preventative maintenance schedules for all applicable equipment and for seeing that they are properly executed
• Manages inventory of parts for the milking parlor
• Ensures that new maintenance staff are properly inducted and aware of company policies and are given role clarity
• Maintains routine servicing and maintenance of the milking parlors
• Identifies and reports of hazards/dangers, accidents, near misses, and property damage at the workplace
• Ensures teamwork amongst staff, both within the Unit and as well as with other Units in the enterprise
• Maintains data that relates to Parlor Maintenance, and for maintaining accurate, detailed chronological accounts of all equipment maintenance and/or repair activities
• Coordinates daily with Farm Manager and Parlor Manager to ensure compliance with all maintenance activities associated with the milking parlor and its related equipment
• Planning, prioritization, scheduling and performance of all required maintenance, including set-up, preparation and clean-up
• Prioritizing, scheduling repairs and installations to equipment and facilities, minimizing interference with production
• Maintaining machine operating standards, including the review and documentation of downtime trends against the standard

Job Knowledge & Skills

• 1. Knowledge of administrative procedures and policies
• 2. Knowledge of program planning and implementation.
• 3. Knowledge of applicable safety requirements.
• 4. Knowledge in building facility maintenance, logistical procedures and purchasing.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant experience , 2 years GCC experience is plus
