Waitress - Banquet (Kuwait)

A 5-star luxury hotel is seeking experienced Waitresses to join its Food & Beverage team and deliver a refined, professional, and welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidates will have strong service skills, a pleasant personality, and prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, lobby lounge, or fine dining environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional, and courteous service
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards and sequence of service
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, organized, and ready for guest service
Maintain strong menu knowledge, including dishes, beverages, ingredients, and special promotions
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
Handle guest feedback or minor concerns politely and report issues to the supervisor when needed
Support upselling of menu items, beverages, desserts, and special offers
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other service team members to ensure smooth operations
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
Follow grooming, appearance, and service standards as per hotel policy
Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waitress in a hotel, restaurant, café, lobby lounge, or similar F&B environment
Prior experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment is an advantage
Good knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards and basic sequence of service
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Presentable, well-groomed, and service-oriented
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest requests professionally
Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
