Key Responsibilities
- Implement and uphold best practices in Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) within offshore brownfield and hook-up commissioning environments.
- Support the execution of major projects in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and SHES management systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external project teams, contractors, and service companies to manage SHES-related aspects effectively.
- Utilize strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills to contribute to the development and implementation of tailored project management systems for the Oil & Gas sector.
- Influence decisions through effective communication, presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or engineering, or professional certifications such as NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, SHES-related NVQ level 5, or British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience in SHES within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with major project execution and brownfield environments for onshore/offshore production facilities.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SHES management systems and programs tailored for Oil & Gas. Experience working with project management systems implementation.
- Business Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and facilitation skills with a talent for influencing key decisions.
- Organizational Skills: Advanced analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities.
Work Schedule
Full-time, based in Raslaffan, Qatar (onshore) with a focus on offshore brownfield and hook-up commissioning projects.
