Memberships Communications Specialist

Our client, a leading cultural organization, is seeking adedicated and dynamic Memberships Communications Specialist who will beresponsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategiesfor membership programs across a leading cultural and creative organization.The role ensures consistent, engaging, and timely communication thatstrengthens member relationships, enhances brand positioning, and supportsoverall organizational objectives. Working closely with marketing, memberships,and visitor services teams, this position plays a key role in driving memberengagement, retention, and value perception.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Communication Management

• Developand manage membership communication plans, calendars, and messaging across allchannels.
• Actas the main point of contact for all membership-related communications incollaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
• Createhigh-quality digital and print materials highlighting membership benefits,exclusive content, and upcoming events.
• Proofreadand edit all communication materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and brandalignment.
• Manageand oversee remote contractors supporting membership communications andmarketing activities, when required.
• DefineKPIs and evaluate campaign performance using analytics to measure effectivenessand identify areas for improvement.

Event Communications & Member Engagement

• Supportcommunications for member-exclusive events, including private tours, workshops,and previews.
• Developpre- and post-event content such as highlights, testimonials, and follow-upcommunications to increase engagement.
• Createand maintain member communication templates, such as welcome messages,response templates, retention, and renewal communications.

Digital & Social Media Communications

• Coordinatemembership-related social media content in collaboration with the social mediaand marketing teams.
• Analyzedigital and social engagement data to optimize member visibility and communitygrowth.
• Generatecreative digital content ideas such as behind-the-scenes features, memberstories, and interviews.
• Manageand update membership content across the website, newsletters, CRMcommunications, push notifications, and mobile applications.
• Workclosely with membership, marketing, visitor services, and design teams toensure consistent messaging and visual identity.
• Collaboratewith in-house designers to produce visually compelling communication materials.
• Reviewdrafts, incorporate feedback, and ensure final outputs meet quality and brandstandards.
• Supportthe Head of Memberships on special initiatives, major campaigns, partnerships,and new member programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimumof 5 years’ experience in communications, public relations, or a related role.
• Provenexperience developing and executing strategic communication plans.
• Exceptionalwriting, editing, and storytelling abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Strongunderstanding of audience segmentation and tailored messaging.
• Proficiencyin email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), social media channels, andContent Management Systems (CMS).
• Abilityto manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Arabiclanguage proficiency is a strong advantage.
