Commercial Manager

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Full ownership of the P&L, including pricing, revenue growth, cost control, and forecasting
• Develop and execute a global commercial strategy for public courses
• Lead international expansion by identifying priority topics, markets, and delivery formats
• Shape marketing and demand generation strategy using data and performance insights
• Line‑manage business development activity to convert leads and optimise course fill rates
• Oversee course portfolio planning, scheduling, capacity utilisation, and cancellation decisions
• Manage instructor and delivery costs to protect margins and ensure commercial viability
• Build strong relationships with faculty, corporate buyers, delegates, and internal operations teams

Key prerequisites for the role include:

• Proven commercial experience with full P&L responsibility
• Background in training, conferences, events, or other scheduled programmes
• Demonstrated success filling courses or events against a fixed calendar
• Strong commercial and analytical capability, using data to inform decisions
• Experience influencing marketing strategy and managing sales activity
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders, including faculty and corporate clients
• Experience scaling products or programmes internationally
• Exposure to professional services, professional education, or executive training
