Job Description

Barista

This position is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for coffee and hospitality.

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies.
• Greet and interact with guest in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Ensure consistency in drink preparation by following recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and seating areas.
• Stock and replenish coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso drinks is a plus.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items such as milk jugs and coffee bean bags.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
