Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• To create the Project Planning; defining the scope of the Project, Project Plan, Risk Management with back-up.
• Track progress against the project plan, ensuring that milestones are met.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Leads projects until end of warranty period (start: PO received).
• Collaborate with the necessary contacts / stakeholders with international customer, partners and subcontractors.
• Responsible for the result (CM2), deadlines and for the cost effective technical and commercial handling of demanding and complex projects.
• Improvement of results through active claim management/Change orders.
• Will extend the support for handling Post order functions, apart from handling specific projects.
• Develops independently strategies and tactics for claims and negotiates them independently.
• Makes statements concerning the results of their projects.
• To focus on continuous improvement in contract management process & ensure the achievement of KPI’s.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
• Comparable broad specialized expertise and constant ongoing training in this area.
• Continuous updating of methods.
• Excellent certified knowledge of project management methods.
• Degree of professionalism recognized across departments/locations.
• Secure in dealing with cultural differences.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to process equipment or Turbomachines.
• Three-year commercial training or Post-graduate in Business administration.
• Familiarity & knowledge of equipment & machinery.
• Legal understanding of contract implications.
• Occasionally required to work under increased performance and time pressure.
• Oil and Gas Experience essential.
• Proficiency in English – speak, read and write.
