Position: Civil Site Manager (Substation Projects)
Location: Qatar
Duration: 6 Months (26 Apr 2026 – 25 Oct 2026)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support and lead site management activities for substation construction projects. The role involves full responsibility for on-site execution, coordination, and delivery in line with project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee one or more construction sites with full accountability
- Plan and execute civil works for substation development projects
- Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards and regulations
- Coordinate with contractors across civil, MEP, and electrical disciplines
- Resolve design-related issues in coordination with engineering teams
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and progress
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and risk assessments
- Monitor project timelines and ensure achievement of milestones
- Maintain proper site documentation and reporting for client and consultant
- Issue and respond to formal communications related to project progress and delays
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards
- Work under pressure and manage extended hours when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience , including at least 8 years in substation projects
OR - Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 12 years of experience , including at least 10 years in substation projects
