Job Description
- Load clean linens on to the truck and deliver them to the hotel according to the schedule.
- Meets Yes I Can! Attitude.
- Responsible Business Ethics.
- Load dirty linens to the laundry truck from hotel and deliver them to the laundry according to the schedule.
- Apart from driving needs to help towel folding area such as folding towels, bath robes and loading caddies.
- Maintain a logbook, recording the number of trips, kilometers, gas, etc..
- Clean the laundry truck inside daily and outside weekly.
- Take care of any maintenance issues, servicing and report to Assistant Laundry Manager.
- Respect law and order i.e. driving, speeding, parking of the laundry truck.
- Respect company standards and departmental rule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a laundry driver, helper, or similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and locations.
- Responsible for safe and timely collection and delivery of laundry.
- Assist with loading and unloading linen, uniforms, towels, and laundry bags.
- Properly count, sort, and handle laundry items during collection and delivery.
- Ensure all laundry is transported safely and securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
- Follow hotel/company procedures for handling clean and dirty linen.
- Check delivery documents and obtain signatures when required.
- Report missing, damaged, or stained items to the supervisor.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry laundry bags.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and professional appearance.
