Your Role:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing smooth operation of Manor Club and Apartment Lounge with highest level of services.


• Maintaining healthy working environment to Manor’ associates and Lounge associates.


• Review performances of each team member and planning for carrier improvement


• Minimizing operational expenses


• Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all Manor Club/Apartment Lounge team members, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.

Standard Responsibilities

• Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.


• Take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.


• Be a \"brand ambassador\" at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.


• Model the company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times.


• Appear as a role model to Manor Club/Apartment Lounge department.


• Report any usual occurrences and any concerns to the Director Rooms.


• Display hospitality skills when dealing with guests and associates.


• Effective scheduling based on forecast business.


• Oversees and elaborate Standard Operating Procedures when needed.


• Recruitment and selection of all Manor Club/Apartment Lounge Team Members, following the guidelines when recruiting and use a competency-based approach to selecting employees.


• Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions with Manor Club team members, supports them in their professional development goals.


• Plans and implements effective training program for all Manor Club/Apartment Lounge team members in coordination with the Area Learning & Development Manager.


• Creates and develops activities / activations for the Manor Club.


• Supports Departmental Trainers through on-going feedback and assistance at monthly meetings.


• Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Manor Club/Apartment Lounge team members through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.


• Ensure the team is following the sustainability program in place.


• Prepares and posts monthly activity schedules.


• Encourages team members to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation.


• Elaborate weekly schedules, approve vacations, etc.


• Ensure that Rosewood brand standards, LQA, FORBES, Sequence of service, product knowledge and all other departmental standards are implemented daily.


• Ensure that the team has the necessary tools to execute their tasks up to standard.


• Conduct LQA and FORBES audits through GO Audits.


• Ensures that all Manor Club and Apartment Lounge team members deliver the promise and always provide exceptional Guest Services.


• Ensures that the team also provides excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.


• Greets and checks-in Notable guests and Long Stay guests.


• Ensures that all the team members are aware of current promotions, policies and other important information.


• Ensures that the team is familiar with the hotel’s products and services.


• Implements guest recognition initiatives and maintains a relevant guest history database.


• Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.


• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.


• Personally and frequently verifies that guests are receiving the best possible experience during check-in and checkout.


• Inspects rooms of Notable guests to ensure full setup is organized.


• Spends time in the Manor Club Lounge and Apartment Lounge during the meal periods to ensure that both areas are managed well by the respective team and delivers the promise.


• Ensures that guest history records are accurately maintained, and all repeat guests are pre-registered.


• Conduct Hotel/Apartment Check In’s and Check Out’s according to Rosewood policies and SOP’s.


• Maximizes team member productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.


• Ensures that Manor Club and Apartment Lounge operates with the lowest possible cost structure while also delivering on the promise to the guest, proactively managing costs.


• Ensures that hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to money handling are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of information.


• Conduct monthly inventories such as Liquor inventory, Linen inventory, OS&E, etc.


• Ensure all prices in the menu and POS are correct.


• Assure proper inventory levels of the Manor Club and Apartment Lounge department supplies.


• Ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventative maintenance and other standards are consistently met.


• Coordinate the selection, purchasing, storage, inventory, maintenance and usage of all related Manor Club and Apartment Lounge supplies and equipment.


• Create and submit PO’s


• Prepare the Month end commentary report of the department.


• Ensures that all in-house news & requirements are communicated to team members and implemented.


• Conducts monthly communications meetings and ensures that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.


• Ensures the maintenance of the daily Logbook.


• Maintains and monitor SA (special attention) list is prepared according to hotel standards and guidelines.


• Ensures that daily calling is conducted at the beginning of every shift
