Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly knowledgeable Government Relations & Corporate Compliance Specialist to manage government, immigration, licensing, and regulatory activities within Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure business compliance, maintain strong relationships with government authorities, and drive the timely completion of all employee and corporate-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive immigration and government-related processes, including visas, residency permits, QIDs, sponsorship transfers, renewals, and cancellations.
• Manage the timely submission, follow-up, escalation, and completion of government applications and approvals.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with government authorities, ministries, free zone entities, and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with labour, immigration, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage renewals of commercial registrations, licenses, permits, establishment records, and statutory company documents.
• Monitor changes in legislation, government requirements, and regulatory processes and coordinate required compliance actions.
• Support company restructuring, legal entity updates, company name changes, registration amendments, and other corporate change initiatives.
• Coordinate document legalization, attestation, translation, and certification requirements.
• Track employee and company compliance activities, deadlines, and associated risks.
• Drive timely resolution of pending government matters that may affect employees or business operations.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders on government-related activities.
• Support government inspections, audits, and compliance reviews as required.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Government Relations, PRO, Immigration, Corporate Administration, or Compliance within Qatar.
• Deep knowledge of Qatar labour, immigration, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing corporate registrations, licenses, and government approvals.
• Experience supporting company changes, restructuring, registration updates, or legal entity amendments is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of government portals, processes, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
