Head QHSE

My client are seeking an exceptional QHSE Leader for a critical engineering project in the Middle East. This is a unique opportunity focussing on Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Train.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage comprehensive Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Quality Management for a large-scale NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) project
• Lead implementation of robust HSE and Quality management systems
• Ensure full compliance with national and international regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain critical HSE documentation and procedures
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and drive continuous improvement
• Mentor QHSE team and promote safety culture across multi-cultural project teams

Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree or equivalent diploma
• NEBOSH certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 25 years HSE management experience, with:
– At least 10 years in senior HSE roles
– Extensive experience in NGL, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas projects
– Proven track record with IOC/NOC Companies or EPIC Contractors

Required Skills:
• Advanced understanding of HSE regulatory frameworks
• Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities
• Excellent English communication and report writing skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Experience in environmental assessments and project risk management

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional engineering or HSE association membership
• Work experience in Arabian Gulf Countries
• Proven success in multicultural project environments
