Job for Support Supervisor(Offshore) for Qatar

Job Description

Qualifications:

1. HNC or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
2. 10 years supervisory experience in offshore construction operations.
3. High knowledge in trade disciplines including:
   • Piping
   • Structural
   • Welding
   • Scaffolding
   • Rigging
   • Painting operations

Experience Requirements:

1. Familiar with inspection requirements and techniques for welding and piping system pressure testing.
2. Experience in crane operations from floating platforms and conversant with marine requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all crane operations and lifting activities.
2. Evaluate and carry out HAZOP studies for all critical lifting operations.
3. Focal point for all joint operations (SIMOPS) when involved with drilling rigs, diving vessels or live production station support.
4. Coordinates all vessel movements with the master to ensure efficient utilization for support services.
5. Should be computer literate, especially using MS Office packages and relevant CMMS packages.
