The Role:

At The Ned Doha, we create memorable experiences through exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members. We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Assistant Head of Security to join our team and help maintain a secure, welcoming, and professional environment across our property.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the Director of Security in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Security department
• Lead, motivate, and develop the Security team to ensure high performance and service excellence
• Monitor security procedures, safety standards, and emergency response protocols across the property
• Assist in conducting investigations, incident reporting, and implementing preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health & safety standards
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders when required
• Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment
• Support training initiatives and encourage a culture of awareness and accountability

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership security role within hospitality, hotels, or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and health & safety practices
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Calm and confident approach with strong decision‑making abilities under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Professional appearance with a positive and service‑oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
