Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage sales budgets and expenses effectively.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, set goals, and address any issues.

Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct regular market visits to gather insights and feedback.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Identify and address areas for improvement in sales processes and strategies.

Product Promotion:

  • Coordinate promotional activities and campaigns to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with the trade marketing team to develop effective promotional materials.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Compliance and Training:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.

Area of Focus:

Customer/Supplier: Internal

  • Assist the TDM in territory problem solving & collections. Ensure all CRs are maintaining their Executioner planners.
  • Ensure customer complaints are attended to by the cooler department.

Customer/Supplier: External

  • Implement higher standards of market execution & specific promotions in model shop.
  • Secure new accounts for Pepsi availability by negotiating display and exclusivity agreements.
  • Responsible for FOC distribution.

People Management:

  • Guide employees during a project and serve as a mentor to new employees within the sales function.
  • Provide input in determining priorities, assigning responsibilities, and may provide input on performance of team members.
  • Assist the Territory Development Manager in training Customer Representatives if needed.

Analysis:

  • Gather and analyze market data.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall sales experience with at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Sales Supervisor or similar role in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM/sales related software.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Qatar Light vehicle license is a must.
