GEN. OPERATOR II (MESAIEED TERMINAL)

Primary Purpose of the Job

Required to effectively manage the existing PTW system within the entire oil storage, distribution and export network. Ensures all hazards associated with the permit to work system for the proposed work are identified, cross referenced and the work sites are examined prior to commencement of work.

To provide the required logistical and administrative support for the PTW system. To provide an efficient and consistent means of ensuring all requested work permit activities are coordinated with the ongoing operational activities.

Coordinates with other entities to follow up job being done by them around QP operational areas.

Required Experience and Skills

Proficiency in use of computers and standard office packages.

Minimum 5 years experience in hydrocarbon industry including experience in DCS and SCADA control system.

Educational Qualifications

Completion of high school followed by a further 2 years training to OND standards or equivalent. Safety diploma is preferable.
