Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities for our group of restaurants. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance tasks

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Supervision

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.

Preventive Maintenance Planning

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all restaurant equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.

Troubleshooting and Repair

  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Task Coordination

  • Coordinate with restaurant managers to prioritize maintenance tasks and address urgent repair needs.

Facility Inspections

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures to identify and address maintenance needs.

Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.

Vendor and Contractor Collaboration

  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and optimizing cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
