POWER SYSTEM PROTECTION ENGINEER

Urgently Required

Location: KSA, QATAR and UAE

Carrying out the configuration and testing of all protection relays like generators, transformers, line, cables, motors, feeders etc.

Must be able to understand the relay coordination study and verify the report before uploading the settings and configuration in relays.

Functional checks of the relays and the complete schemes including end to end tests, unit protection schemes etc

Configuration of SCMS of GE, ABB, SIEMENS, SEL etc and must be able to establish complete communication link within the SS and with the control centers.

Must be able to carry out the retrofit of the protection system of the substations/ power plants.

Education / Certification:

• FIRST class Graduate Electrical engineer.
• Must have the degree certificate attested for UAE / KSA.
• Must pass the utility/ municipality exam from where visa is issued.

Experience:

SUBSTAION TESTING AND COMISSIONING ENGINEER

Location: KSA, QATAR and UAE

Carrying out the testing of switchgear components, power transformers, generators, cables, busducts, motors, GIS etc.

Must be able to test the backup protection relays along with configuration.

Must be able to do all the operational and Functional checks of the electrical system and must be able to carry stability and sensitivity tests for the complete system.

Must be able to independently carry out retrofit and maintenance testing of the electrical system.

PANEL WIREMAN

Able to read Panel drawings.

Independently do control and protection panel wiring and testing.

Panel wiring / Crimping and Termination as per the Panel drawing.

Arrangements of switchgear materials as per the Panel GA drawing and BOM.

Installation of Electricals components in control panel and Labeling/Ferruling.

Glanding and Termination of Field cables.

Control Panel continuity testing.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Control Panels Equipment: LV circuit Breakers, LV transformers and Power supplies, Contactors, VFD's(Inverters), and other electronics

Install New Electrical Systems : installing new or refurbished equipment for manufacturing or production plants. He shall run tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented and work out any issues before the equipment is used on a daily basis.

Troubleshoot Problems with Electrical Equipment : When equipment on a factory floor runs into problems, He shall troubleshoot problems with various types of equipment and understand why equipment is not working properly.

Repair and Maintain Existing Equipment : Once a problem has been identified, He shall use tools and replacement parts to make repairs to production and manufacturing machines.

SUBSTATION AUTOMATION SYSTEM ENGINEER

Diploma in Engineering.

Minimum 5 years work experience in Electrical Sub Station.

The SAS Engineer will be responsible for commissioning transmission and distribution substations, new construction, extensions, retrofits & modifications ensuring all are installed, functional and energized correctly.

Will be responsible for the validation of customer system delivery to ensure no errors are incurred or introduced in the design package or installation of the solution offered by Hitachi ABB Power Grid.

The individual must be able to read engineering drawings and specifications to understand the purpose of the solution proposed.

Provides technical support for installation, execution testing and commissioning activities. Prepare documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. (Drawings, test plans, config files).
