Principal Piping Engineer
Location: Doha, Qatar
Type of Work: Office-Based
The Principal Piping Engineer provides technical leadership for piping engineering activities on complex onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. The role ensures high-quality design delivery during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases, while maintaining compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 18+ years of experience in piping engineering within the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong experience in onshore and offshore brownfield projects.
- Proven involvement in FEED and Detailed Design projects.
- Hands‑on experience working in a 3D design environment such as PDMS, SP3D, or AVEVA E3D.
- Middle East project experience, particularly in Qatar, is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognised university.
- Professional engineering certification or chartership is desirable.
