Job Description

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and rate build-ups for Civil, Infrastructure, Structural, O&M and MEP works.
Prepare tender pricing, commercial proposals, clarifications,
qualifications
, exclusions and assumptions.
Prepare post-award activities including valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
Good knowledge of the Qatar construction market and preferably Ashghal/Qatar contractual practices.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel estimation/QS software such as Candy/CCS or equivalent.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and commercial skills, with ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
Coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadline

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in Construction Estimation / Quantity Surveying, preferably with 5+ years GCC/Qatar experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
