Job Title: Business Solutions Specialist – Navis N4 TOS

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Specialist to support and maintain mission-critical Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) including Navis N4, XPS, and Master Terminal platforms .

The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of terminal systems supporting container and non-container terminal operations. The successful candidate will act as the first point of technical resolution for system issues and will work closely with terminal operations teams, managed service partners, and external system vendors to maintain optimal system uptime.

This role also contributes to system upgrades, implementation projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and integration of terminal systems .

Key Responsibilities

System Operations & Technical Support

Monitor the daily health, performance, and configuration of Navis N4 TOS and related terminal platforms
Act as the first responder for system incidents and operational issues
Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as gate transaction errors, login failures, and system connectivity problems
Diagnose and resolve application, database, integration, and infrastructure-related incidents

Incident & Problem Management

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring system incidents
Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using ITIL-based service management tools
Document solutions and maintain knowledge base for future issue resolution

System Enhancements & Upgrades

Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration updates
Participate in testing, integration, and system commissioning
Support implementation of new TOS modules and enhancements

Project & Operational Support

Work with terminal operations and planning teams to ensure system reliability
Assist in integration of operational systems and third-party applications
Support cybersecurity initiatives related to terminal systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience supporting Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) or logistics platforms
Hands-on experience with Navis N4 / XPS / Terminal Operating Systems
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, databases, and infrastructure
Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
Experience supporting port, container terminal, or logistics operations systems
