Psychiatric Therapist – Qatar

Location: Qatar
License: QCHP (mandatory)
Experience: 4+ years in mental health settings
Languages: Arabic & English (fluent)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric and psychological assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based therapy, including CBT, counseling, or psychotherapy.
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide crisis intervention and mental health support when needed.
Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
Ensure compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Psychiatric Therapy, or related field.
Valid QCHP License (mandatory).
Minimum 4 years’ experience in psychiatric or mental health settings.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CBT or other structured therapy modalities.
Hospital, clinic, or community mental health experience.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of Qatar healthcare standards and policies.
