Job Description

The project is to establish a Fiber optic link between and onshore site and offshore site
Duration of project 18 Months
Tentative start date July 2024
Lead & Direct the offshore Construction activities
Participate in construction engineering, procurement, during engineeirng stage
Preparation of construction documents
planning of resources (manpower material, equipment subcontractors etc)
The Offshore Installation Engineering shall include:
i. Definition of safe and efficient methods means and organisation for offshore installation
operations.
ii. Assessment of the installation constraints, temporary installation structures and installation
means.
iii. Complete engineering/analysis, studies, calculation notes and drawings including review and
confirmation of all engineering undertaken in support of design, fabrication, transportation, and
interface activities.
iv. Identification and engineering of the operations to be performed on platforms for cable pull and
connection
Complete engineering of installation aids, pad eyes, grillage, rigging requirements, etc., necessary
for performance of installation.
vi. Rigging calculations.
vii. Preparation of the installation procedures (whenever required within following sub-sections).
viii. Develop contingency procedures, including product repair procedures.
ix. Preparation of checklists that will be signed by all parties for each operation.
x. Preparation of the overall Installation Plan.
xi. Handling, lifting during all stages.
xii. Pre-survey and as built survey.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor of technology 10 to 15 years’ onsite offshore construction managment experience on Oil and Gas projects in middle east
Should be from Electrical/Instrumentation/telecom background with exposure to other discipline works
Experience in supervising and managing muti-discipline works/subcontractors (welding scaffolding)
Experience in offshore oil and gas platforms must.
Knowedge of work with rope access
Site planning of resources needed (manpower, equipment)
Preparation of construction activities, method statements, JHA etc
Office & site based onshore and offshore as needed during site works
