Responsibilities
- Inspection : Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with design, load capacity, and offshore safety standards.
- Certification : Approve scaffolds for use after verifying stability, anchorage, and safety measures.
- Compliance Monitoring : Ensure scaffolding erection and dismantling follow CISRS and project‑specific procedures.
- Documentation : Maintain inspection records, issue permits, and prepare reports for QA/QC teams.
- Safety Enforcement : Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage, and permit‑to‑work systems during scaffolding operations.
- Team Coordination : Work closely with scaffolding foremen and supervisors to rectify deficiencies and ensure safe practices.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Construction/Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of offshore scaffolding inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, load calculations, and offshore safety standards .
- Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and project specifications.
- Familiarity with CISRS, ISO, and NOC standards.
Certifications & Training
- CISRS-OSTS Scaffold Inspector Certification (Basic/Advanced)
