Permit Coordinator - Civil

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Permit Coordinator – Civil in Doha, Qatar . Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong civil permit coordination experience and the ability to efficiently support project teams with permit approvals, documentation, and compliance requirements. Candidates with Qatar or GCC project exposure are preferred. Apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil work permit applications, approvals, renewals, and closures for project activities.
  
• Prepare and verify permit-related documentation before submission to the relevant project or approval authorities.
  
• Liaise with civil engineers, supervisors, HSE personnel, contractors, and project teams regarding permit requirements.
  
• Track permit status and follow up on pending approvals to prevent delays to planned civil works.
  
• Ensure all civil activities commence only after the required permits and supporting documents are approved.
  
• Maintain accurate records of active, expired, closed, and pending permits.
  
• Identify documentation gaps or permit-related compliance issues and coordinate corrective action.
  
• Support project teams in meeting permit procedures applicable to Qatar/GCC civil project environments.
  

Required Skills

1. Civil Permit Coordination — Strong understanding of permit processes associated with civil construction activities.
   
2. Permit Documentation — Ability to prepare, verify, track, and maintain permit-related documents accurately.
   
3. Approval Coordination — Experience coordinating with relevant project stakeholders and approval authorities.
   
4. Civil Project Knowledge — Understanding of site activities, construction documentation, and civil work sequences.
   
5. Compliance Monitoring — Ability to ensure civil works comply with approved permit conditions and project procedures.
   

Preferred Skills

• Previous Qatar or GCC project experience.
  
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and project approval workflows.
  
• Experience working with multidisciplinary civil construction/project teams.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The posting requires 5–10 years of relevant experience . Candidates should have experience related to civil projects, with Permit Coordination – Civil preferred . Previous exposure to Qatar or GCC projects is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: Typical qualification for the role — Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Preferred: Relevant civil/construction or project documentation certification.
  
• Additional: Permit-to-work, HSE, or construction compliance training may be beneficial
