Job Title: Elevator Project Engineer
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing elevator installation and modernization projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with quality control inspectors and regulatory authorities for inspection approvals and certification.
- Ensure all installation work complies with international elevator codes and standards (EN, ISO, ASME, or local authority requirements).
- Develop installation plans and monitor project progress to ensure that all works are executed in accordance with the approved schedule and project duration.
- Monitor installation progress and report project status, delays, and technical issues to management.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of elevator materials and equipment on site.
- Optimize installation methods to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain quality standards.
- Support after-installation service teams during initial operational periods if technical adjustments are required.
- Review and understand project contracts, technical specifications, and scope of work to ensure installation activities comply with contractual requirements.
- Ensure that all site works executed by civil contractors comply with approved elevator shop drawings and technical requirements, and Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site-related technical issues affecting elevator installation.
- Monitor daily activities of installation teams to ensure work is carried out according to project schedule and quality standards.
- Oversee elevator installation, modernization, and maintenance projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare project schedules, technical documentation, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
- Monitor project budgets and resources to achieve cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in elevator.
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Nationality: Arab / Indian
