Job Description - Data & AI Project Lead (CREQ265838)

Location - Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
• Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
• Drive project governance using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking through JIRA.
• Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely updates, risk mitigation, and effective decision-making.
• Oversee vendor coordination and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure successful delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.
• Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
• GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.

Evaluation Criteria

• Relevance and depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale and complex transformation programs.
• Banking / financial services domain exposure, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
• Availability to support immediate project timelines.
