Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: in Engineering or Science.
- Preferred: Post Graduate degree or professional certificate in HSE / Safety Engineering.
Experience Requirements
- Extensive experience in risk management studies (e.g., QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, BOW TIE, ORA) is required.
- Certified Lead Auditor by IRCA or equivalent International Register in HSE is a plus.
- 15+ years of total experience, preferably in a multinational or oil & gas organisation, including offshore experience.
- 5+ years total experience working in HSE risk management and loss prevention, preferably in oil & gas operations.
- Previous experience in a Safety Engineering/HSE supervisory or managerial position, or as a consultant/auditor (or working for a consultancy/audit firm) will be considered a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English (Arabic is an advantage), strong analytical skills, and a high degree of computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safety and risk engineering support to various asset departments.
- Effectively participate in the assessment and evaluation of operational risks for existing and new installations.
- As Process Safety/Risk Engineer, participate in the support, development, and implementation of Process Safety/Risk Management programs.
