Job Description

The Spa & Recreation Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of spa, wellness, fitness, and recreational facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experience, financial performance, and full compliance with the hotel’s Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).

Qualifications

• Spa & Recreation Operation

• Oversee daily operations of the spa, fitness center, pool, and recreational facilities
• Ensure all services, treatments, and activities meet established quality, hygiene, and service standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for all spa and recreation areas
• Ensure facilities, equipment, and amenities are well maintained and operational at all times.

  Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and handling guest feedback professionally
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively
• Continuously innovate and improve spa and recreation offerings based on guest feedback and market trends.

•  

  Team Leadership and Training

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise spa and recreation colleagues
• Ensure all team members are trained in IMS, FSMS, health & safety, and emergency procedures
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify development needs
• Promote a professional, motivated, and service-oriented work culture.

•  

  Financial Management & Administration

• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and reports
• Monitor revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability
• Oversee inventory management, supplier coordination, and stock control
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and administrative procedures.
