Head of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)

Job BriefWe are looking for an accomplished Head of HSE with 20+ years of experience in managing health, safety, and environmental functions within large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects. The ideal candidate must hold an Engineering degree supported by internationally recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH. Prior experience in airport, warehouse, or cargo terminal projects is mandatory. This role will lead all HSE strategies, compliance initiatives, and risk management activities to ensure a safe and incident-free project environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, lead, and implement the overall HSE strategy, policies, and programs for the organization and project sites.Ensure full compliance with international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, NFPA, ICAO/IATA safety guidelines, etc.).Oversee risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigation processes.Lead HSE teams across multiple sites and ensure consistent implementation of safety protocols.Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and compliance assessments.Manage HSE training programs and ensure workforce competency in safety practices.Liaise with airport authorities, government agencies, consultants, and contractors on all HSE matters.Provide leadership during emergency preparedness and crisis management planning.Analyze HSE performance data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure the implementation of environmental protection measures and sustainability practices.Promote a positive safety culture across all levels of the organization.Qualifications:Minimum 20 years of experience (Mandatory) in HSE management within infrastructure, aviation, logistics, or industrial sectors.Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial or related discipline).Additional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC/NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, OSHA, ISO Auditor certifications are highly preferred.Mandatory experience in airport projects, cargo terminals, or large warehouse facilities(Mandatory)Strong knowledge of international HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.Proven track record of developing and implementing high-performing HSE systems and programs.Excellent communication, analytical, and crisis management skills.Why Join Us?You will work in a place where safety and people truly matterYou will lead important projects that make workplaces saferYou will grow your skills and share your knowledge with a strong teamYou will be valued for your leadership, care, and commitmentApplication Instructions:If you possess the qualifications and are driven to excel in your field, we warmly invite you to apply by sharing your updated resume at View email address on click.appcast.io or by applying directly through this platform.Note: While we appreciate every application, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
