Senior Estimator Civil
Role
- The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
- Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project plans and specifications, determining material and labor requirements, collaborating with project teams, preparing bid documents, and ensuring cost-effective planning.
- The role requires close coordination with procurement, design, and project management teams to provide accurate and timely assessments of project costs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budget preparation, and cost control specific to civil engineering projects
- Strong analytical skills, ability to assess technical drawings, project specifications, and contracts
- Experience with estimation or project management software, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and civil engineering standards
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills
- Experience in the industrial, commercial, or logistics construction sectors is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with professional certification as an asset
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry
