Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Room Attendant.

The Room Attendant at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms, suites, and assigned areas. The role ensures that every guest enjoys a comfortable, luxurious, and memorable stay by following hotel standards, providing attentive service, and respecting guest privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to luxury hotel standards
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and room supplies
• Ensure guest rooms are clean, organized, and ready for guest arrivals
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost-and-found property to the appropriate department
• Respond to guest requests promptly, courteously, and professionally
• Follow hotel procedures for hygiene, sanitation, safety, and security
• Respect guest privacy and follow established room access procedures
• Coordinate with the housekeeping team and other departments to ensure efficient room operations
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, trolleys, and cleaning supplies in good condition
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service quality
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
• Knowledge of room cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practices
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions, hotel policies, and standard operating procedures
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing a housekeeping trolley
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and luxury service excellence
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
