Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Spa & Recreation Attendant.

The Spa & Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all spa, wellness, fitness, pool and recreation facilities are clean, safe, well-maintained and ready for guests. The role provides direct guest assistance while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service expected in a luxury hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional and personalized service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa, recreation, pool, fitness and wellness areas
• Ensure towels, robes, amenities and other supplies are fully stocked
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after guest appointments
• Assist guests with the use of spa and recreation facilities
• Maintain changing rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, sauna, steam room and pool areas
• Monitor facilities and report maintenance, safety or equipment issues promptly
• Conduct regular checks to ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety standards
• Support spa therapists and reception colleagues with daily operations
• Respond to guest requests and provide assistance in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the facilities
• Follow all hotel health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance at all times
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily facility checks
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

• Previous experience in a spa, wellness, fitness, recreation or luxury hotel environment
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and guest-focused approach
• Good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Professional grooming and positive attitude
• Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Basic first aid or lifeguard certification is an advantage
• Good command of English, with additional languages considered an advantage
