Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Spa & Recreation Attendant.
The Spa & Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all spa, wellness, fitness, pool and recreation facilities are clean, safe, well-maintained and ready for guests. The role provides direct guest assistance while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service expected in a luxury hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide professional and personalized service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa, recreation, pool, fitness and wellness areas
- Ensure towels, robes, amenities and other supplies are fully stocked
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after guest appointments
- Assist guests with the use of spa and recreation facilities
- Maintain changing rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, sauna, steam room and pool areas
- Monitor facilities and report maintenance, safety or equipment issues promptly
- Conduct regular checks to ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety standards
- Support spa therapists and reception colleagues with daily operations
- Respond to guest requests and provide assistance in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the facilities
- Follow all hotel health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures
- Maintain professional grooming and appearance at all times
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily facility checks
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Qualifications
What will you bring to this role?
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness, fitness, recreation or luxury hotel environment
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and guest-focused approach
- Good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Professional grooming and positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Basic first aid or lifeguard certification is an advantage
- Good command of English, with additional languages considered an advantage
