Rotating Equipment Engineer (Senior Mechanical Engineer)
Reports to: Lead Mechanical Engineer / Program Manager
Job Purpose
To provide expertise in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, seals) supporting leak management and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain rotating equipment integrity and performance.
- Develop maintenance strategies for pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery.
- Troubleshoot vibration, lubrication, sealing, and alignment issues.
- Support failure investigations and corrective action plans.
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with API standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, gas turbines, and associated systems.
- Familiarity with API codes and relevant standards.
- Strong problem-solving and reliability engineering skills.
