Job Description
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, portioning, and mise en place.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the Chef de Partie.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
